Her story isn't rare in Cameroon. It's reality.
Girls as young as 11 are promised an education in big cities like Bamenda or Douala. Instead, they're trafficked, used, abandoned, pregnant, alone.
Some escape. Some survive. Most don't.
Mercy Seed Outreach is a Christian nonprofit in Cameroon working where others won't go—rescuing the forgotten, feeding the starving, and lifting women and children back into safety, healing, and hope.
What We DoAnd What Your Gift Makes Possible
We serve women and children who've been:
Rescue
We go into the bush, the slums, and the city streets to bring them out. "Our most recent outreach brought 7 women out of trafficking. One girl had a baby on her back and no shoes on her feet."
Shelter
We provide emergency housing, clothing, water, and rest. These women have seen too much. So we slow down. We listen. We love. We begin again.
Heal
Counseling. Prayer. Trauma recovery. We hold their stories and walk beside them in Jesus' name.
Train
We teach hairdressing, tailoring, hygiene product making, and small business skills. Not just to survive but to thrive.
Launch
We give each woman a startup kit: Sewing machine, tools, micro loan or grant so she can run her own business, raise her children, and never be dependent again.
